Afterwards, check out one of the city's historic must-sees: the Basilica del Santo Niño, home to an over 500-year-old wooden figure of Santo Niño that the Portuguese navigator Ferdinand Magellan once brought to the island as a gift. You can also find Magellan's famous cross in a little chapel right around the corner. And when you get hungry – for street food or for souvenirs – the Carbon Market is your place to be. Dive into the hustle and bustle, try exotic cuisine and experience that true Cebu feeling!
